Benchmark Commercial Construction has been selected as the design-build contractor for a new 43,500-square-foot moving, storage, and logistics facility in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The project will serve as a modern operations hub designed to support regional moving and storage services while improving efficiency and long-term scalability.
The facility will feature a combination of high-bay warehouse space, logistics distribution areas, and integrated office space, all designed to meet the demands of a growing operation. Benchmark will lead the project under its design-build delivery model, providing a streamlined process from initial concept through construction. “This project represents another strong addition to our growing portfolio of logistics and storage facilities throughout the region,” said Michael Allen, President of Benchmark Commercial Construction. The building will utilize a pre-engineered metal structure, offering durability, flexibility, and cost-effective performance, with construction expected to begin following final design and permitting approvals and completion targeted for 2027.
